Following the retirement of Christopher Newson, Equity Group has appointed Jonas Mushosho as a Non-Executive Director to its board.
Mushosho provides a wealth of wide executive leadership expertise in managing strategy implementation in a multi-national setting, which will be critical as we attempt to enhance our regional businesses, according to Equity Group Chairman Isaac Macharia.
Mushosho expressed his delight at being appointed to the board at a time when the company’s total assets have reached Sh1.12 trillion and it is focusing on growing its regional business.
“By working together with the highly skilled management and staff at Equity, we will be able to further grow our business and continue to provide inclusive financial services in the countries we serve in furtherance of the Group’s vision of championing the socio-economic prosperity of the people of Africa,” he said.
