Eric Omondi Issues an Apology After KFCB Drama

Few hours after being released from police custody Eric Omondi was forced to apologize to the public over his controversial show wife material. – By Stephanie Mwangi.

Omondi mentioned that he was in a long phone call with the KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua and they both agreed that wife material doesn’t have to be dirty in order to sell.

“I have had a very long phone call with Ezekiel Mutua and he is of the very strong opinion that wife material doesn’t have to be dirty in order to sell and I have sent him a personal apology, the intention has always been to entertain and not to offend and I would like to apologize to anyone who got offended.

He went on to say that the whole idea of the wife material show was to bring east Africa and Africa together through entertainment.

“the vision is to take over Africa and the dream is to lift the east African and Kenyan flags to the world and that it requires a tedious process ,the creative process can be long and tedious and whenever a new idea is born it comes with a lot of teething problems ,we promise to do better and be better.

The CEO said that Eric was arrested for contravening the films and stage Act Cap 222 which prohibits production and distribution of unauthorized films this was in reference to the wife material show.

Some of the contestants all from Tanzania were arrested and later released on the next day on a cash bond of 50 k and they will be charged in court on March 18th.
