Following Manchester United’s disheartening 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, manager Erik ten Hag has firmly stated he is “not thinking” about losing his job.
The Red Devils have endured a shaky start to the season, echoing last year’s disappointments, including an eighth-place finish in the Premier League and a last-place exit from their UEFA Champions League group.
Despite the team’s struggles, Ten Hag emphasized the club’s commitment to his leadership during a post-match press conference. “We all made a decision to stay together as an ownership and leadership group,” he remarked.
He noted that the club is working with a clear strategy to improve, stating, “We will get better; we need some time.”
Ten Hag acknowledged the challenges ahead, such as integrating new players like Manuel Ugarte and dealing with injuries.
“We are all on the same page,” he asserted, reinforcing that the collective effort remains strong.
