Eriksen Back On His Feet After Collapsing During Euro Match

Christian Eriksen, of Inter Milan and Denmark, has been seen for the first time since leaving the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Last month, the former Tottenham midfielder fainted during his country’s Euro 2020 opener against Finland.

Eriksen, 29, received life-saving treatment on the field, but it was Denmark captain Simon Kjaer who performed CPR on his teammate first.

After being resuscitated, the Dane was transferred to the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, but he returned home on June 18 after having an ICD inserted.

Eriksen has been resting with his loved ones in Odense, but on Friday he went to Tidvilde Strand beach and posed for a selfie with a little enthusiastic fan.

Bjorn Bindzus, the young child shown with Eriksen in the photo, couldn’t contain his joy at meeting one of his heroes.
