Eveready announces its first female Managing Director

Eveready has unveiled its first ever female Managing Director. This comes after the retirement of the portable energy solutions’ former manager, Jackson K. Mutua who has served for the last 11 years, announced his resignation.

Margaret K. Odhiambo, who was the Head of Corporate Services at the company, is set to take charge of the company from 31st January 2019 when the current managing director is set to retire from office.

According to a press statement seen by Uzalendo News, Margaret has been a key factor in Eveready’s growth, serving in increasing responsible positions during her 11 year stay at the company. Her legal and corporate business skills will be of help in steering the company forward.

Margaret Odhiambo holds a degree in law and is currently an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
