Outgoing Chief Administrative Secretary David Osiany has revealed that he will pass the baton to seven new nominees.
On his official Twitter account, Osiany stated that his close friends were referring him to a’super CAS’ because he was to hand over his previous role to seven nominees.
This comes after President William Ruto nominated former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero, Vincent Mogaka, and Lilian Tomitom to replace Osiany as CASs for the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
In the Ministry of EAC, ASALs, and Regional Development, where Osiany was acting, he will be replaced by two nominees.
If approved by parliament, Mwanamaka Maruki and Rael Lelei will serve as CASs for the EAC, ASALs, and Regional Development.
If approved by parliament, Margaret Wanjiru and Amos Mugo will serve as CASs for the Ministry of Corporate & MSMEs.
Osiany was appointed as CAS for the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development by retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
When Ken Obura resigned to run for Kisumu governor, Uhuru appointed Osianyo to serve as acting CAS for the East African Commission and Regional Development.
