Former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa appeared in court over his involvement in the Ksh. 39 billion gun supply scandal.
He appeared alongside Kennedy Oyoo and Daniel Otieno in a Nairobi court where they face fraud charges.
The three are facing 12 counts of fraud. Their case will be heard on 12,15 and 16 July 2021.
The former minister appeared before the court to answer to 12 charges including an alleged attempt to make a document with intent to defraud Polish military dealers.
Echesa was dismissed as the Cabinet Secretary for Sports in March 2019 by President Uhuru Kenyatta and replaced with the current CS Ambassador Amina Mohammed.
