Fake: EACC Trashes Korir ‘Land Grabbing’ Letter

The Ethics and AntiCorruption Commission (EACC) has distanced itself from a letter circulating on social media indicating forfeiture of Sh 204 million purported to have been acquired by Hon. Nixon Kiprotich Korir.

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has publicly termed the said letter as fake.

The commission proceeded to say that the name and signature of CEO Twalib Mbarak was forged to mislead members of the public and to negatively paint the name of Hon. Korir.

“We clarify that EACC is unaware of the matters stated therein and the CEO’s signature is forged.” The EACC tweeted.

Further, the commission verified that it is unaware of the allegations appearing on the fake letter that Hon. Korir acquired the alleged money while operating illegal business in Uhuru Gardens Historical Site.
