The ‘Fake lawyer’ arrested pursuant to court directive has been arraigned in court today.
Edwin Motari Onguti who was arrested in Milimani Law courts on Tuesday has been charged with an offense of pretending to be an advocate contrary to the Law.
According to the charge sheet, Motari pretended to be an advocate by representing a client in a criminal case.
Appearing before Magistrate Susan Shitubi of Milimani Law courts the accused denied particulars of the charges and was released on a Bond of ksh 500,000.
