Family Bank Manager from Nairobi head office was today arraigned in a Nairobi Court facing charges of stealing Ksh 66 million from the said bank.
Elias Kinyua Njue, the manager of Family Bank Nairobi appeared before Milimani Law Courts Magistrate Benmark Ekhubi facing charges of stealing from the Bank contrary to section 281 of the Penal Code.
According to the charge sheet, Elias Njue on August 3rd 2023 stole Ksh 66,912,724 from the Bank, money which came to his possession by virtue of his employment.
The manager however denied the charges and was released on a Bond of Ksh 5 million with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 1 million.
