Five Year-old Boy Killed After Winds Picked Up A Bouncy Castle

Strong winds in the US state of Maryland have picked up a bouncy castle high into the air, resulting in the death of a five-year-old boy.

The children were playing near Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf on Friday when the inflatable was lifted 15-20 feet off the ground and landed inside the stadium at a baseball game.

Authorities in Charles County Maryland said some children had fallen to the ground before the bouncy castle, known as moon bounce, had landed.

According to the weather reports for Friday, strong to severe stormy conditions were expected to materialize during the afternoon and evening.

According to CBS News which was quoting the BBC, the US partner, the storms were predicted to bring damaging winds, intense lightning, and heavy rainfall.
