Flour Trader Charged Over Bounced Cheques

A man, his wife, and their company have been arraigned in court after they issued bad cheques to pay for maize.

Ndisya Muluu Mutua, Fridah Kambua Ndisya have been charged with 5 counts of acquisition of goods under false pretense.

According to court documents seen by Uzalendo News, the duo, through their company Ndisya Trading Limited, paid for goods worth 6.2 Million shillings to Pembe Flour Mills, using cheques that were linked to a Cooperative bank account.

However, it was established that the accounts did not contain sufficient balance to complete the transaction.
