Former Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut Is Dead

    He ran as an Independent candidate to keep his seat in 2022, but lost to Samuel Chepkonga of UDA Party.

    The family of former Ainabkoi Member of Parliament William Chepkut has confirmed his death. Chepkut passed away on Saturday morning.

    According to reports, the former MP collapsed at home and was taken to Mediheal Hospital in Parklands, where he was pronounced dead.

    He died of a blood clot and high blood pressure, according to reports.

    Chepkut was admitted to the hospital last year and remained there for two months after an accident at a hotel in which he missed a step and fell down a flight of stairs, rolling over several times.

    He also had an accident that required him to be taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

    Chepkut was the MP for Ainabkoi from 2017 to 2022.
