Bruno Isohi Shioso has been named the National Police Service’s new spokesperson (NPS).
Shioso, a seasoned detective and former deputy head of the Banking Fraud Investigations Unit, will succeed Charles Owino, who was named deputy director of the Kenya National Focal Point on Small Arms and Light Weapons (KNFP) in May.
On Tuesday, Inspector General of Police Hilary Mutyambai announced Bruno Shioso as the new Police Spokesman.
Shioso, a veteran detective and former deputy chief of the Banking Fraud Investigations Unit, was named the National Police Service’s (NPS) new spokesman on Tuesday.
He worked at the United Nations headquarters in New York before being assigned to the police spokesman position.
Shioso also worked as a personal assistant to Ndegwa Muhoro, the former Director of Criminal Investigations.
The seasoned detective was one of five officers assigned to investigate and respond to the terror assault at Garissa University College in 2015.
