Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has modified his social media profiles to reflect his transition into private life.
The quick adjustments came only hours after ex-Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithara Kindiki was inducted in to the job at a ceremony conducted Friday at KICC.
This signaled the end of Gachagua’s tenure in the prominent political role that he held for two years.
“Husband. Father. Kenyan” the bio on his official Facebook and X accounts now reads.
He also removed a cover photo in which he was captured with his former boss President William Ruto, First Lady Rachel Ruto alongside his wife during the inauguration ceremony at Kasarani stadium in September 2022.
