This comes after Waititu failed to appear in court for the pretrial of his 550 million shilling corruption case on Monday.
Waititu is said to have allegedly tested positive for COVID-19.
He will be examined by a team of three doctors who will examine the former governor, drawn by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist board.
The court has also directed a report of his condition to be filled in court within 7 days.
Waititu is facing charges of corruption and abuse of Office in reference to irregular awarding of tenders worth 588 Million to one ‘Testimony Enterprises’.
According to the EACC, out of the 588 Million awarded, 51.2 Million was given to his wife.
The case resulted in the ousting of the once vocal Kiambu governor, who has since gone quiet.
