Esther Gathogo, a former Ruiru Member of Parliament, has reversed her recent decision to back Deputy President William Ruto.
Gathogo, who is seeking to reclaim the seat she held on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s The National Alliance (TNA) from 2013 to 2017, declared her resignation from UDA party at Jubilee Party headquarters.
She was among a group of leaders from Kiambu and Murang’a counties who paid Ruto a courtesy call at his Karen residence recently to express their support for the DP.
Gathogo was one of the leaders on the ground during his visit to President Kenyatta’s backyard.
