A Nairobi court has ordered the continued detention of Pascaline Peter, popularly known as Passy Ma Trevor, for an additional 30 days amidst investigations into a fraudulent scheme involving KSh 350 million.
Pascaline was arraigned at the Makadara Law Courts on September 16, where she faces allegations of defrauding over 300 Kenyans through her real estate firm, Pafrim Investments Ltd.
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) managed to persuade the Chief Magistrate’s Court to grant an extended custodial order, allowing them more time to compile evidence and gather statements from victims.
So far, sixty victims have provided testimony, and this number is expected to grow substantially as the investigation proceeds.
According to the DCI, Passy Ma Trevor is accused of perpetrating a sophisticated scheme that left numerous individuals facing significant financial losses.
