Dr. Chris Kirubi’s funeral service is taking place at Faith Evangelistic Ministry (FEM) church in Karen, Nairobi.
Among the dignitaries present include ODM Leader Raila Odinga, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi.
Amb. Amina Mohammed, accompanied other government ministers at the venue.
On Saturday, June 19, Dr. Kirubi will be laid to rest at his Thika farm.
He died at his home on Monday, aged 80, following a protracted fight with cancer.
Kirubi was a successful mentor and coach who helped produce a generation of entrepreneurs and corporate executives, according to several leaders.
Kirubi, also known as DJ CK on the radio, was named the second richest Kenyan by Forbes in 2011, behind the family of the country’s founding leader, President Jomo Kenyatta.
