Kisumu Woman Representative Ruth Adhiambo Odinga, who is also Raila Odinga’s sister, has expressed disappointment over Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua‘s decision to hold a press conference before his impeachment hearing in parliament.
Delivering her submissions on Rigathi’s ouster, Ruth explained that she was on the deputy president’s side but his comments during the interview changed her mind.
“I was on your side before, but you have hanged yourself using your own rope. For that matter I support the motion to impeach,” she stated.
She continued to add that Gachagua should emulate the late Jaramogi Oginga’s example and resign from his position if he is not seeing eye to eye with President William Ruto.
