Mbeere North, Kenya – In a display of grassroots political engagement, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua took his campaign directly to the heart of the Mbeere North constituency on Thursday, November 20, 2025, holding a series of meetings with farmers and traders at the core of the local economy.
His tour commenced at the Mùgùka farms and the bustling Mla Chake Muguka Market in Nthawa Ward, where he engaged directly with cultivators and sellers of the region’s vital cash crop.
Emphasizing a philosophy of servant leadership, Gachagua stated, “We are in the village with the people listening to them and their aspirations. We do so because it is the people at whose command we serve.”
After hearing the concerns of the agricultural community, the former Deputy President asserted that the constituency requires dedicated representation. “Listening to the farmers and traders here, without doubt, Mbeere North deserves a selfless people representative to champion marketing of Muguka produce and good prices,” he declared, positioning himself as the candidate who would fight for the community’s economic interests and secure better returns for their harvest.
