Four men were sentenced to 30 years in jail by a Kakamega court after they were found guilty of armed robbery and gang rape.
David Nyongesa, Charles Abonyo, Nelson Ravasa, and Davis Kamadi were condemned to the said term after the prosecution successfully proved their case before the trial Court.
On Thursday, Senior Magistrate Dolphina Alego of Kakamega Court handed down the sentence, stating that the four will spend 30 years for each of the three offenses.
The four are said to have raped a lady in 2019 at the Kenya Power area on the outskirts of Kakamega city and then robbed her of valuables worth Ksh.146,075.
