Ganze MP Teddy Mwambire has called for residents to make time for counselling so that they can end the ever increasing cases of suicides.
Speaking in Mitsemerini during the burial of Karisa Mwanengo, the MP said many people are going through alot of challenges that has led to some of them commit suicide.
“It is high time that we talk to each other. Had the deceased took time to consult on what he was going through, then he would maybe have taken another step other than killing himself,” he said.
The late Karisa committed suicide by hanging himself using a rope inside his house.
Before his death, he had taken dinner and bid goodbye to his family.
He was never to be seen for three days until his decomposing body was found hanging inside his room.
