A Monday morning attack by suspected Al-Shabaab terrorists has left 3 teachers dead.
The attack occurred at the Kamuthe Resource Centre in Fafi, Garissa County at around 2.00 am.
According to the police, the militants hit a Kenya Power transformer, an Administration Police (AP) camp, and a Safaricom telecommunications mast and kidnapped a teacher from the institution.
The attack comes barely a week after militants killed four pupils at Saretho, and also destroyed another communication mast.
Tension remains high in the region following the attacks, and security agencies are said to be on high alert across the country.
