Alejandro Garnacho has spoken candidly about the challenges of leaving Manchester United, describing his final days at Old Trafford as a “difficult moment.”

The 21-year-old Argentine winger, who joined Chelsea for £40 million in August, revealed that he trained alone in the build-up to his transfer.

Speaking in a post-match interview after Chelsea’s 1-0 UEFA Europa League victory over Benfica on September 30, Garnacho admitted the experience had been tough but emphasized he harbors no resentment toward his former club.

Garnacho started the match at Stamford Bridge and came close to scoring, playing a significant role in securing Chelsea’s victory, which ensured the club finished top of their Europa League group.

Reflecting on his new chapter, Garnacho highlighted his satisfaction with life in London and credited Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca for helping him adapt quickly.
