Elisha Odhiambo, a Gem MP, declares to be next preferred secretary general of the Orange Democratic Movement after Sifuna.
The second-term lawmaker made the announcement on Friday, despite allegations that he is a party mutineer.
“Next year, I will become the next Secretary General of the ODM. It’s just a matter of time, “Odhiambo said.
The legislator stated that he plans to meet with key ODM figures who are willing to support his candidacy.
The ODM’s secretary general position is currently occupied by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.
