General Muhoozi Has Threatened To ‘Pursue’ Intruders To Uhuru’s Northlands Farm

On Saturday, the controversial leader took to social media to call the retired Head of State his "big brother," expressing his outrage over Monday's incident.

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, has weighed in on the invasion of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s family-owned Northlands Farm, threatening to send the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) to track down the intruders.

On Saturday, the controversial leader took to social media to call the retired Head of State his “big brother,” expressing his outrage over Monday’s incident.

He went on to say that the country would also send UPDF to protect the former president and that they would “physically assault” the offenders.

“The other day, hooligans attacked my big brother’s farm.” We’ll send UPDF to protect him. “Those hooligans will be beaten to a pulp!” he wrote on Twitter.

Muhoozi continued, “I asked Mzee to deploy me as the OC (Officer Commanding) at Northlands. All we need is 200 UPDF soldiers to bring order. He asked me why? I told him that Kenyans need a good beating. He refused.”

The Northlands Farm located in Ruiru along the Eastern Bypass was attacked by unknown goons on Monday during the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition anti-government protests.

The assailants are said to have cut down trees, made away with at least 1400 sheep, and later a portion of the property burn down.

Following the incident, the government assured protection of the property of the ex-president.
