Brighton Closes In On Signing Gilmore

According to The Daily Telegraph, Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour is close to joining Brighton.

Gilmour, 21, spent last season on loan at Norwich City, but he has yet to break into Thomas Tuchel’s first-team plans since his return to Stamford Bridge and could now leave permanently.

He moved from Rangers to Chelsea when he was 16 in 2017, making 11 Premier League appearances for the club, but after impressing early in his career, he has now decided to leave.

Everton are said to be interested, but Brighton are first in line.
