Murdered girl, 10, body found in a septic tank.
The body of a missing 10 year old girl was yesterday January 13, found in a septic tank at Chokaa Estate off Kangundo Road after a four months search.
According to a report published by the People Daily and corroborated by the Police, the girl had been reported missing on September 2019.
The decomposing body was recovered by a construction worker at the estate in the evening in a routine exercise.
Detectives from the Kayole Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) are interrogating the incident.
The DCI detectives have so far carried out forensic investigations at the venue with the help of Crime Scene Support Services.
Those who discovered the body accompanied the deceased’s aunt and uncle who recorded a statement at Kayole Police Station.
The body of the deceased was transferred to City Mortuary pending a postmortem examination.
Late last year, September 13, 2019 the body of Dutch businessman Tob Cohen was also found in a septic tank in his Kitisuru home where he lived with his wife Sarah Wairimu. Cohen’s had gone missing for almost two months.
Since then,Wairimu and businessman Peter Karanja have been charged with murder of Cohen.
