Uasin Gishu County Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei, took to the media to express her frustrations at President Uhuru Kenyatta over the launched Building Bridges Initiative Report.
The former Chief Registrar of the Judiciary stated that Uhuru’s choice to launch the report was a sign that he has failed to fulfill his promises outlined in the Jubilee Manifesto.
“I think if I read the BBI report and compare it with the Jubilee manifesto, basically he is saying ‘I have failed’,” she argued, as she appeared to toss the report away.
The legislator has been a vocal critic of the report, which in her many addresses, termed it as an illegal report and had even wished tyhe President would not have launched it in the first place.
The BBI Report has given politicians sleepless nights, as it had hidden itself from the public since the celebrated Handshake between Uhuru and Raila Odinga.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who raised eyebrows and shouts at the venue, shared opinions that echoed Sholei’s outrage.
“This program has been skewed to leave other people who have different opinions to speak what they want to say. If we are going to build an honest Kenya going forward, we must be able to put our views on the ground,” he bursted.
