The shortlist is expected to feature major contenders like Wicked: For GoodHamnetMarty Supreme, and Sinners. Stars such as Timothée Chalamet, Emma Stone, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jessie Buckley are also anticipated to be in the running for acting honors.

The nominations will be announced by actors Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall starting at 13:15 GMT. In a nod to evolving media, the Globes have introduced a new category this year: Best Podcast.

US comic Nikki Glaser is set to host the 82nd Golden Globe Awards ceremony, which will take place in Los Angeles on January 11. As the first major televised awards show of the season, the Globes often provide crucial momentum for Oscar hopefuls and signal which films—and performances—will dominate the conversation in the months ahead.
