East Africa Spectre Limited, a gas plant owned by Azimio leader Raila Odinga, was stoned on Monday by unidentified individuals.
A number of windows were shattered in videos obtained by Uzalendo News, with stones littering the premise’s entrance.
Another CCTV video shows about 20 people throwing stones outside the gate.
According to Humphrey Waswa, the company’s security and safety manager, the individuals arrived on motorbikes and began throwing stones for about 30 minutes before police officers arrived and dispersed the crowds.
“They were being supported with four unmarked vehicles (land cruisers) and we suspect their target was our Managing Director because her office has been most damaged,” he said.
An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
