Government declares February 11 as National holiday to mourn Moi

The government has announced Tuesday 11th February will be set aside as a National Holiday to mourn the late president Daniel arap Moi. 

The late former President will be accorded a state funeral on Wednesday, February 12 at Kabarak, Nakuru County.

The public viewing of his body will be held on Saturday, February 8th, at the Parliament of Kenya, Nairobi County.

A host of delegates, heads of state, business associates and friends, as well as local leaders are expected to attend the funeral.
