“It’s pay back time,” Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki has told the Kikuyu community.
Njuki described the Kikuyu community as the most ungrateful political ally and said Merus and Embus “must and will” divorce the Gikuyu Embu and Meru Association.
He said should Kikuyus not support Speaker Justin Muturi for Presidency, Mt. Kenya East will bolt.
Njuki accused the Kikuyu community of using and dumping the Ameru community and said its now payback time.
“Tharaka Nithi saved the Kibaki Presidency in 2007. Yet Kikuyus remain very ungrateful and insensitive to our interests”, Njuki said.
He accused Kikuyu cousins of unbridled arrogance and political demagoguery and said 2022 is the defining moment.
“They now claim a big river cannot join a small tributary. But the tributary supplies the clean water. We are fed up”, he said.
Who is Muthomi Njuki
Governor Muthomi Njuki is a trained Mathematics teacher.
For many years, he taught in Kitui County where he also established a thriving electronics and MPESA business.
He is a well known figure in Kitui town where he owns an high end hotel at the town centre.
He served as an MP of Igamba Ngombe in Tharaka Nithi before he was elected Governor.
He has several corruption cases pending in court.
His business flagship is Generations Electronics in Kitui town.
