Siaya Governor James Orengo has lauded the Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) after the assembly approved reports and charters for Bondo and Ugunja to become Municipalities.
Taking to social media on Wednesday, Orengo said that he will soon confer the two with municipality status and appoint respective Boards.
“Management of the Urban areas is one of the devolved functions to county governments as articulated in the constitution,” he added.
