Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has reassigned Geoffrey Mosiria from the Environment docket in the last changes to his cabinet.
In a notice on Tuesday, November 18, Sakaja moved Mosiria to the Citizen Engagement and Customer Service docket.
The Nairobi Governor replaced Mosiria in the Environment docket with Hibrahim Otieno.
In other changes, Governor Sakaja moved Godfrey Akumali from the Business and Hustler Opportunities docket to Housing and Urban Renewal.
Tony Michael Kimani was reassigned from Social Services and will now be in charge of Social Services and Estate Management.
Lydia Mathia, who previously headed Housing and Urban Renewal, will now lead the Business and Hustler Opportunities docket.
The Medical Facilities docket will now be headed by Sande Oyolo, who was previously in the Digital Economy and Start-Ups sector, while Wilson Gakuya, who headed the Smart Nairobi docket, will take over the Digital Economy and Start-Ups portfolio.
Governor Sakaja also reassigned Dr. Machel Wailenda from the Mobility docket to head Mobility and Ag. ICT Infrastructure.
Further, he reassigned Clement Rapudo from City Culture, Arts and Tourism to the Smart Nairobi docket, while Zipporah Mwangi was transferred from Citizen Engagement and Customer Service to City Culture, Arts and Tourism.
The Nairobi County boss noted that the changes in the county executive take effect immediately.
This is the third Cabinet Reshuffle Governor Sakaja has done since he came to office in August 2022.
