Four people were torched to death after an irate mob suspected them of practicing witchcraft in Kisii County.
Jemima Mironga (60), Agnes Ototo (57) and Sigara Onkware (62), and Sindege Mayaka (85) were burnt beyond recognition.
According to locals, the four were identified after a botched kidnapping ordeal.
The minor, who was found abandoned by the roadside, positively identified the four.
The irate Bomokona mob then torched the houses belonging to the four, killing them on the spot.
Police officers who got wind of the information rushed to the scene but found the suspects already burnt to death.
They urged residents to report such incidents and let the law take its course.
