The green park bus terminus is among the termini designated by the Nairobi Metropolitan services as part of the Nairobi integrated urban development master plan and decongestion strategy. – By Sharon Maina.
This terminus will serve all Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) plying Machakos, Ngong road, Ongata Rongai, Lang’ata road, Kawangware, Kibera among others.
According to our spotcheck, Uzalendo News statistics reveal that the park is nearing completion with the contractor already in the final touches.

The state-of-art facility adopts a similar design to the Greyhound Terminus in New York United States, with most of its structures already complete including pavements and bus shades.
NMS Director of Transport and Public Works Engineer Michael Ochieng, pointed out that the terminus will be in two parts, with the first part next to Haile Selassie and the other one along Bunyala Road where people will be able to cross using the footbridge into the CBD.
The park will also accommodate boda boda and taxi operators. NMS is optimistic that the terminus will be open for public use in March 2021.
