GSU Elites Pass Out, Relatives Frozen From Fete

2,000 GSU personnel will pass out today at their National Police Service Embakasi B’ Campus.

Relatives and friends of those graduating this afternoon will not be allowed to attend the event.

Police bosses have directed that there will be no invitation of civilians, family or friends.

These are part of measures put in place following heightened threats of terror attacks.

This will be the latest security graduation event to be attended by president Uhuru Kenyatta in a series that has seen more than 15,000 personnel join various services.

He has attended events at the Kenya Defence Forces, Kenya Prisons Services, Administration Police Service and National Youth Service.

Police have warned there might be disruption of traffic flow on Mombasa Road in the afternoon today and want motorists to get alternative routes.
