Alf-Inge Haaland, the father of Borussia Dortmund star Erling and former Manchester City captain, has voiced his frustrations after news emerged that Jadon Sancho’s move for Manchester United was sealed.
United have agreed a £73million fee with Dortmund as Sancho is expected to sign a five-year deal in the coming days, after previously agreeing personal terms with the club.
Sancho formed a formidable Dortmund attacking partnership with Erling Haaland, who continues to be linked with a move to a number of Europe’s elite sides, including both Manchester clubs who are admirers of the striker.
As anticipated, Sancho is United’s first signing this summer time season with the membership hoping to get some other couple of latest faces thru the door earlier than the quit of the window.
“But all the best Jadon Sancho. You will be missed”, Haaland Snr posted on Twitter in reply to the Sancho news.
His tweet makes for interesting reading as many fans took it to mean his son will still be playing for Dortmund next season.
