Hakuna Matata Hit maker appeals help from the public for a needed surgery

Teddy Kalanda known for his hit song Hakuna Matata needs financial help in footing the bill for his surgery on his leg.

Teddy has been on a wheel chair since 2017 and his care giver told him that if he doesn’t get specialized treatment he was at the risk of losing his sense of motion.

Tony explained how three of his discs on his leg are damaged shown by an image of an x-ray. “The doctor told me I would be paralyzed from my waist to my legs after an x-ray showed that three of my discs have been damaged. I have stayed in hospital for about two months but I still need to undergo surgery. “Said Kalanda

A predicament that has seen the legend turning to the government to launch a program that caters for the needs of people who have put Kenya to the map.  Hakuna Matata is a phrase that has been used to promote tourism in the country

Just about a month ago veteran broadcaster Leonard Mambo Mbotela was also   at the Nairobi South Hospital and was also appealing help from the public to offset a bill of 1.1 million and the president came forth to help him

Another actor/presenter Abdi of inspekta Mwala was also seeking help from the public to offset a hospital bill of 2.5 million after he was involved in an accident along Muranga road that left him with minor injuries
