When Musalia Mudavadi retained his Matungu seat, he whipped Raila hands down. Hardly a day later, Raila panicked. Sounds up the DP Ruto camp for a belated pre election deal.
This is the scenario the ‘elusive’ deep state wanted. Now they are all on their own…Kalonzo, Ruto, Raila and Musalia.
And so begs the question: Has the BBI idea, designed to cut DP William Ruto to political size gone burst?
Put in another way, has Raila and Uhuru Kenyatta, the youngest political couple in Kenya separated? The Jury is still out there.
That Marriage Was A Scam…
Raila Odinga and President Kenyatta have never been politically married. They executed a come we stay arrangement. This requires no notice to vacate.
In 2002, they auditioned a similar arrangement. Midwived by President Moi.
The illusion then was a Uhuru-Rao alliance to exorcise George Saitoti and take over as President Kenyatta and Vice Odinga.
Nothing worked. Raila bolted. Uhuru was left with non starters such as Musalia Mudavadi, William Ruto and Katana Ngala. They were later buried at the political ocean by Raila, Kibaki and other anti Moi forces.
BBI looks shaky. Raila is grumbling. He is getting impatient by the day. He feel betrayed by Uhuru, but is falsely accusing PS Karanja Kibicho. He knows better than fight the President.
Raila is under pressure to accommodate DP Ruto into his final train to Canaan. Ruto is reluctant to play second fiddle to Raila. Infact, Ruto erroneously believes he has the support of the GEMA community.
Raila thinks he is the Western Kenya flag bearer. The deep state wants to neutralize Raila politically in Western Kenya, by creating a scenario that Musalia is the stronger candidate.
