The Kenya National Women’s football team, Harambee Starlets, fell two spots in the FIFA rankings.
Starlets are now ranked 149th in the world football governing body’s latest rankings, down from 147th in June.
This is primarily due to Kenya’s recent FIFA ban, which has impacted both domestic and international football.
The team missed out on the women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and the CECAFA Women Championship, both of which were held in Uganda in June, as the suspension continues to bite the players and teams.
