Harry Kane has signalled his intention to extend his stay at Bayern Munich, effectively ruling out a return to the Premier League next summer. The England captain says he is “all in” on continuing his career in Germany, where he has rediscovered his form and lifted silverware since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in 2023.

The 32-year-old striker still has two years left on his current deal, but Bayern are already pushing for an extension. His contract includes a clause allowing him to leave for £56.7 million next summer, with Tottenham holding first refusal. Despite that, Kane insists he is focused on building long-term success in the Bundesliga.

“In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that,” Kane told reporters. “I have not had those conversations yet, but if they arise, I’ll be open and honest. Right now, we’re in a fantastic place and I’m not thinking about anything else.”

Kane admitted his desire to return to the Premier League has faded since moving abroad. “If you’d asked me when I first left, I’d have said for sure I’d come back. Now, after a couple of years here, I’d say that’s gone down a bit — not completely, but I wouldn’t say never.”

The Bayern forward, who has already scored 19 goals this season for club and country, praised head coach Thomas Tuchel and credited the Bundesliga for improving his game.

“I love the manager, I love the challenge. As long as we’re improving, I’m happy,” he said. Kane also dismissed talk of a move to Major League Soccer, saying it was “too early” for such a step.

Kane joined Bayern in a record £100 million deal and has since become one of the club’s most influential players, helping them to consecutive league titles and another strong Champions League campaign.
