Health CS Aden Duale on Monday Presided over the official opening of the 8th Annual Ansaaru Sunnah Islamic Conference in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
The four-day conference has drawn over 20,000 faithful and brings together respected local and international Islamic scholars for spiritual guidance and nourishment.
Notable scholars expected to address the Conference are, Jamia Mosque Nairobi Imam Sheikh Jamaludin Osman, internationally renowned Sheikh Mohammed Idriss and Qatar-based Sheikh Abdirashid Ali Sufi.
In his remarks, Duale underscored the importance of registering with the Social Health Authority (SHA) and encouraged the congregants to take advantage of the cover to avoid the heavy burden of out-of-pocket medical expenses.
