The family of the late nurse Wendy Hellen has come out to seek help from well-wishers to them bury her.
Hellen died in Canada while enjoying her afternoon in a swimming pool.
According to the video, the lady identified as Hellen Wendy was recording a live video on her Facebook account while enjoying her afternoon after work.
Through Wendy’s Facebook account, her brother Enock Magara Nyabuto expressed how devasted the family is as she was the sole bread-winner of her family.
He spoke out about the loss, saying asking their friends to help them raise money to be able to bring her body to Kenya.
He said the family is struggling to come to terms with the loss.
“Hello everyone, My name is Enock Magara Nyabuto. Immediate sibling to the late Hellen. As we all know my sister Hellen Wendy passed in Ontario, Canada after drowning in the swimming pool.
It is such a devastating and sad moment because she was our sole breadwinner and was the one who was in charge of everything back at home.
She has left a very big gap that we cannot fill at the moment. All we are asking for is your support so that we can bring her body back to Kenya for burial.

Her father told the Standard that she moved to Canada in 2019 after getting a 10-year study visa to Canada through a Green Card lottery. In the North American country, she was juggling between studies and part-time nursing practice.
“I was happy she had gone to Canada and could assist me in educating her other siblings,” her father said, “She was at least willing to assist her family. God had answered my prayers. She was working part-time to pay her school fees.”
