Four suspects have pleaded not guilty to planning the murder of a Member of County Assembly.
The four; Josphat Makani Nabutola, Wilson Okumu Ochilo, Kelvin Chakuto and Wycliffe Mugani were arraigned at Milimani Courts to face their charges.
Before Hon Susan Shitumbi, chief magistrate at Milimani Law Courts all the accused persons denied planning to murder Kibera Lindi ward Member of County Assembly Jairus Omaya.
Particulars of the offense is that the four accused persons on 4th February 2022 along Ngong road were found armed with pangas and metallic hammer in preparation to murder the MCA.
The prosecution objected release of the four on bail or bond stating that the investigating officer is yet to capture some key evidence from the witnesses.
It is not yet clear why the four planned to eliminate the Law maker and the primary mastermind of the crime.
