The development was made public following Wanga’s meeting with Education Principal Secretary Julius Bitok on Wednesday, November 26.

Bitok used the meeting to highlight the government’s expectations and affirm the institution’s mandate moving forward.

He explained that the bureau had reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its core role in the education system.

“KLB reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its mandate of providing high-quality learning materials that support curriculum requirements and ongoing education reforms,” he said.

Bitok stated that the government will continue pushing to enhance materials that support competency-based learning and ensure equitable access for all learners.

He further expressed gratitude for KLB’s contribution to national education priorities.

“As we continue enhancing the delivery of competency-based learning, our focus remains on ensuring that every learner has access to relevant, affordable, and high-quality educational resources.

“We appreciate KLB’s dedication to fulfilling its role within the Ministry and contributing to our shared goal of improving learning outcomes across the country,” he added.
