Police investigating the discovery of body parts in suitcases in Bristol have found more human remains in west London.
The remains were discovered on Friday in a flat on Scotts Road, Shepherd’s Bush. Officers believe the remains belong to the same two men whose body parts were found two days ago at the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
The Metropolitan Police have identified the suspect as Yostin Andres Mosquera, a 24-year-old Colombian national.
The public has been warned not to approach him. Both victims are thought to have been known to Mr. Mosquera, but have not yet been formally identified.
The remains in London are being “sensitively removed,” with post-mortems planned as soon as possible. A cordon was in place on Scotts Road on Friday afternoon, with officers and forensic investigators present.
A 36-year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation on Friday in Greenwich has been released without charge. The Met’s Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine emphasized the urgency of locating Mr. Mosquera and appealed to the public for information.
On Wednesday night, Avon and Somerset Police responded to reports of a man acting suspiciously with a suitcase on the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Two suitcases containing human remains were discovered. Witnesses reported seeing two men with suitcases, accompanied by a woman.
Police have released images of Mr. Mosquera and described him as black, with a beard, wearing a black Adidas cap, black jeans, a black jacket, and black trainers. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police on 101, quoting the Met Police reference CAD 306 12JUL.
