“I Pity Ruto”: Nigerian Prophet Warns of Political Downfall Ahead of 2027

In a prophecy stirring both fear and fascination, Nigerian cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele has sounded a dire warning for President William Ruto: the road to 2027 is crumbling beneath his feet.

Ayodele, revered by followers for predicting Ruto’s rise in 2022, now claims the president stands on the edge of political disaster.

With only a “15% chance” of winning re-election, the prophet says Ruto is facing rejection from the very people who once cheered him into power.

“I pity Ruto; his time is almost up. If he doesn’t make the adjustment, he has only a 15 per cent chance of winning the election. He may take it seriously or not, but the removal of the former deputy president began his downfall. He is engaged in too many unnecessary battles, and this will lead to his rejection if he doesn’t know what to do,” Ayodele stated.

The message is a chilling one. Ayodele says the Kenyan youth—the heartbeat of the nation—will rise in defiance.

’’The youths will reject him and seriously disagree with him. Ruto hasn’t seen anything yet; if he isn’t careful, they will disgrace him out of office.” the prophet warned.

But the prophecy doesn’t stop with Ruto.

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who was ousted in a storm of political turmoil, has also been urged to pray—against not just political danger, but physical and spiritual affliction.

In a video message from last year, Ayodele issued an eerie warning:

”If the deputy president goes down, Ruto is also going down. He should look at it very well. Meanwhile, the man is prepared for the consequences, but Ruto will also be affected. It is better he settles this amicably,” he shared in a video last year.

As Kenya heads into uncertain political waters, Ayodele insists there’s still time—time for Ruto to listen, to change course, and to reconnect with the people before it’s too late.

“If he does not wake up,” the prophet concluded, “what lies ahead will shock him.”
